ICELW is an international conference focused specifically on e-learning in the workplace. With researchers and practitioners coming from around the globe and from both university and business backgrounds--the ICELW community works to improve online learning so that it makes a measurable difference in workplace performance and morale. By uniting the corporate and academic worlds, ICELW is creating a new synergy one with the unique capability to realize the vast potential of e-learning in business, industry, and government. ICELW 2016 will incorporate an increased focus on demonstrations of successful e-learning, the application of new research ideas. and research studies to practical workplace learning problems.

MSFS2016 is an international-short-term school aimed to introduce modeling “from fundamental phenomena up to complex multiphysics environment and multiscale” to fellows involved in research, both in academy and industries, in the field of food and bio processes. Particularly, the school is addressed to fellows involved in research in food and bio-science, technology and engineering, who have limited experiences in modeling and/or fellows with intermediate knowledge who are willing to further improve their modeling skills both in vertical (i.e. going from simple mono-physics, quite linear problems to multi-physics, non linear problems) and in horizontal direction (i.e. going from single-scale modeling to multi-scale modeling).

Cloud, 5G, and the Internet of Things are the backbone of the digital economy. This edition will explore how future internet topics can best serve and benefit from the Commissions Digital Single Market Strategy. Digital as a Driver for Growth is crucial. It will be exciting to discover together how standards and interoperability, cloud computing, 5G, the Internet of Things, open service platforms, FIRE facilities and FIWARE technology can push the digital economy to maximum growth.
